Add simple textures to text in Fireworks with 2 steps!
This is a common effect which gives a texture to a text. The two examples what you see on the right are given the textures DNA and Vertical Line. This tutorial teaches you how to give a texture to a text. Your can also check out patterned text which is a little similar to this effect
Step 1
Type a text on the canvas. Use a big and bold font so that the texture is clearly visible. The font used here is Continuum Bold of size 80.
Step 2
Select the text and click on Color Fill>Fill Option>Texture, choose the pattern DNA, select 50% for the Amount Texture. The pattern is immediately applied to the text.
Step 3
Wasn't it very simple! Try out the other textures and enhance your text effects.
