Filed under: Buttons by 9Tutorials |
In this tutorial I am going to show you how to create a help button in windows XP style. After you started with a New document, follow the steps below.
STEP ONE
First, select the Ellipse tool and draw an ellipse, 50 pixels of width and 50 pixels of height. Then, you have to set background. Set Gradient -> Linear background and set the marked colors on the image below. Then set border to 4, 1-Pixel Soft style, #FFFFFF color.
STEP TWO
Then, in the Properties panel, go to Effects -> Shadow and Glow -> Drop Shadow and set all values likey they’re setted on the image below.
STEP THREE
Now, select the Text tool and write a question mark and set Trebuchet MS font. Set #FFFFFF color and 42.35 font size. Bold it, too, and place it in the center of the blue ellipse. That’s all and the help button is done.
